  • Talking Everborn: Inside the Universe | Entering Malmö

Malmö is a city in southern Sweden, just across the water from Copenhagen, Denmark, connected by the Öresund Bridge.

It’s a city built on function before style. Grit before polish. Less refined than Stockholm, but full of character.

When Leo steps off the train and walks toward the center of town, he has no idea what waits for him. The city was here long before he arrived, and it will remain long after it decides what to do with him.

"Talking Everborn" is an ongoing series where we explore the world, characters, and events of The Everborn Chronicles.

No spoilers. Just perspective, observation, and discovery. Readers are invited to take part in the discussion! Share your questions, observations, and interpretations in the comments. Consider this an open book-club discussion.

  • Talking Everborn: Inside the Universe | Who is Leo?

    Leo is our entry point.

Let's take a high-level look at Leo - the outsider whose story begins The Everborn Chronicles.

He doesn't arrive with answers. He doesn't carry history or allegiance to a particular group. And he doesn't understand the world he's being pulled into.

His ignorance is what makes his perspective dangerous yet necessary. He is our lens into a conflict that predates him, and in a world where being neutral is not an option--he must choose a side.

    Do It Anyway

Be weary of advice that’s spoken from the lips of people whose life experiences come from the comfort of their window. Trust me, most of it is not words of concern. You just happen to be a mirror reflecting back to them their own insecurities; so they project, fearful of their own short comings.

Royalties, Publishing, Plus I Own Masters!

Nipsey Hussle (God rest his sou) always preached leverage and ownership.

It’s one thing to land a deal, it’s another to land partnership. Partnership is very a different conversation. When you build the product from the bottom and do the heavy lifting on your own, and own the process from A to Z, all they can do is partner with you…because of your leverage. You have what they want and they will work with you; instead of “this is what we are offering.”
